The Uncomfortable Truth About Jahangir Akhtar!
The battle for Jahangir ‘Asbo’ Akhtar’s seat has already started in earnest.
Akhtar is far more unpopular and is more electorally vulnerable than he could possibly imagine!
There is a feeling abroad amongst his former supporters, that wants change and Asbo is definitely considered to represent past failures, not future success.
In short, his own voters want him gone and they won’t have to wait long!
Lauded Deputy Leader to liability, in just 5 months. Quite amazing!

If I was going to stand against Ahktar then my election material would include all those unpleasant comments made by Ahktar relating to individuals on benefits, those who are housebound and the awful misogynistic comment.
I would be confident that informing the public on what Akhtar really thinks of them would alienate most voters in his ward.
A large majority of voters in Rotherham West do not have the luxury of dragging thousands of pounds from the public trough, they have to live on benefits, many are disabled from working in the steel and coal industries and many are at home because they are unemployed
A heartless, uncaring individual, roll on 2014!
In addition to this, Asbo Akhtar is a coward, a bully and a thug! His grip on power is definitely loosening and he is engaged in ever more outrageous behaviour, to enforce compliance from those who have realised the truth about Mr Akhtar and his sons and close supporters!
He has become a laughing stock, even amongst Labour colleagues we understand and his stock amongst senior officers has never been lower too, judging by the looks shared between them, when he leaves the room.
Anyone except a Labour party member for Maltby please !

Jeanette Mallinder (party not named but has stood for Labour in Hellaby)
Joe Robinson has been campaigning – leafleting and a stall on Maltby High St a couple of times. Posters also on High St. He also attended a meeting of MTC recently.

Its time for a change in Maltby. Career politician Amy Rushforth needs to go, I’m confident that once the people of Maltby really know what Amy and her labour colleages are up to they will vote her out, along with many others in other areas.
