  1. Don’t be so stupid. It’s nothing to do with racism, people are just fed up with all this multiculti rubbish. What the hell is multiculturalism anyway?

You are just part of the elites’ puppets that dance to their tune. They use these phrases as a means of control. Argue against mass unfettered immigration and you are a racist – despite the fact that they only want immigration so that they have a large pool of unemployed labour that they can use cheaply.

Point out what is going on in the world and you are a conspiracy theorist (i.e. nutter) – because you’ve had the cheek to point out what is really happening and they don’t like people doing that.

    • Exactly Road Hog. There is also no such thing as “Islamophobia” either. This is a term of propaganda designed to protect Islam from the forces of secularism by conflating all criticism of it with racism and xenophobia. It is used to shut down any criticism of Islam and it is doing its job, because so many people in this country are taken in by it.

  2. It’s remarkable that in this article a Libdem Councillor, whose party have been in local government far longer then UKIP actually asks them to come up with solutions to help it survive the onslaught of cuts his party has been complicit in inflicting on local government. Surely even, they must now recognise, as David Goodhart a longstanding champion of multiculturalism has finally done, that the corrosive effect of what he calls “laissez faire multiculturalism” has had on community solidarity and traditional identities. Multiculturalism promotes ethnic difference it’s a totally failed concept and has been an unmitigated disaster for this country. If immigrants cannot accept our culture then they should not come here – it’s as simple as that!

My song is the same one as before the election. As for a trolls you might be right considering my latest passport picture.

  3. And you two seem to be puppets as well. Divide and rule all over. You really think immigrants are the problem? Go chase after the real vermin of society, such as the bankers who receive huge handouts for causing the financial crisis and the millionaire individuals and corporations who cost the UK £70bn a year through tax avoidance – not the immigrant at the bottom with you who’s doing the jobs you can’t be arsed to do!

    • sheepshaun: The topic is multiculuralism not immigration. Many immigrants have integrated into British society. The Polish and Italians that came here after the war have done so, but because of the failed concept of multiculturalism many recent immigrants are simply not going to integrate because they have been encouraged for years not to do so and many are in this country without any affinty to its culture. They see the culure they have brought with them as being superior to ours despite it being that culture that has kept many of the countries that they have come from so backward and made rule by tyrants endemic in them!

      • Yes, multicuturalism has failed; we don’t have several cultures living together in harmony. But from then on we diverge in opinion – my reasoning for multicuturalism failing is that they haven’t been given the chance to. All sorts of cultures are just pushed into and segregated into little areas such as Eastwood & Wellgate with no chance to integrate with anyone else of different cultures and religions. Indeed a few may think their culture is superior to ours, just as some people of our culture think ours is superior.

I don’t think it’s a case of people not wanting to accept our culture – more of a case of them not being given the chance and the opportunity to. Equality, equality of opportunity; let’s take it!

  4. Target a group, demonise those individuals, raise fears how these individuals will impact on the indigenous population and rest follows the same pattern in Germany during the 1930s.

I expect to see in the UKIP manifesto a requirement for all non white Anglo-Saxons to have to wear a badge on their clothing to identify which race they originate from.

The Labour group in Rotherham has only themselves to blame for the loss of the Rawmarsh election, allowing a women only short list, allowing Lisa Wright to stand was at a tactical error of epic proportions.

UKIP will build on its success, come next year’s local elections many more Labour Cllrs will find out what the electorate really think of them, and all of this is of their own making and could easily have been avoided had someone with guts said no to Lisa Wright!

    • With only a 25.7% turnout the majority of people in Rawmarsh said no to all of them. I ask the question again is it time to have compusory voting?

  6. Why would any sensible person support and encourage multiculturalism? Why should ethnic Britons stand idly by and see councils and police giving undue legitimacy to “self-appointed leaders” in some areas by inviting them to endless meetings and consulting them on their views and allowing them to become “gatekeepers to their communities”?
I was under the (misguided) impression HMG-of all parties- wanted integration not separatism. Rejecting multiculturalism in favour of integration is not racist, the idea of different ethnic groups having their own schools and ‘parliaments’ for example is blatantly racist. We should be encouraging everyone who comes to live and work in Britain to integrate instead of dashing off to set up minority enclaves. The idiotic Labour party allowed and encouraged ‘Sharia’ courts in Britain in defiance of our own laws. If you want to live in Britain then you must adhere to our laws.
Britain has a proud history, heritage and culture, and what we offer all immigrants is the opportunity to share what we have and to improve their quality of life-if they want it. Equally, if they do not want to integrate the exit door is open. It is very simple-Integrate or Emigrate.
Multiculturalism is the enemy of Integration.

  7. This from the Mirror

Ukip’s Chris Pain, leader of the opposition at Lincs Council and the party’s East Midlands regional chairman, wrote: “Have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in ‘illegal immigrants’, and add just a few more letters, it spells, ‘Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, baby-making, non-English-speaking ********* and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-********, raghead ******** with you.’”

    Says it all about UKIP!

  8. Last time I looked Wikipedia and others had about half a dozen different definitions of multiculturalism. UKIP’s bigots seem clear that it is “everything we don’t like can be blamed on foreigners and their friends”. For them anti-multiculturalism means ” loathing foreigners while denying racism”.

Such hypocrisy combined with denial of the obvious will maintain the long proud tradition of duplicity of political leadership in Rotherham. UKIP may do well.

Mind you, Tories and Lib Dems seem to be saying something about UKIP, where is the Labour leadership. Visiting the caravans for a pleasant weekend on the east coast?

  9. There is a general intentional conflation of multiracial with multicultural. Multiculturalism dictates all cultures be tolerated side by side in a utopian state. As we know utopia us a mirage paddled to on a sea of blood. Different cultures demand their own identities and customs and laws and languages run side by side. Britain has survived and prospered as a culturally homogeneous nation state by the single culture and law and religion (largely) and language dictating and informing the morality and structure of society. It is not possible, in my opinion, for any society to survive with multiple cultures jostling for position . Eventually one will try to dominate the others and chaos will ensue.

Ireland, Palestine and the middle east in general and Palestine in particular are clues. Even the Romans gave up on the Balkans and the problems resurfaced again with the Serbian and creation massacres and the institution of a muslim state in western Europe with the assistance and connivance of the UN.

    Evidence?
You immediately label anyone with a different view on multiculturalism as a bigot, why is this?
There is no empirical evidence that shows multiculturalism is working in Britain. We are a multiracial society which is entirely different. The question of race includes French,German,Poles,New Zealanders and Australians for example not just those with a different skin tone.
Your post reads as ; Opposition=Bigot. Neither true nor accurate.

    • Multiculturalism means multiple cultures which we have, many of them, based on many different aspects of life, the only thing it needs to work is acceptance of the fact that segregated aristocratic nation states with dictated mono-cultures are a thing of the past and we can each have our own individual cultures now. The only people against this are those who desperately try to impose their cultures on others largely due to their inferiority.

      • It’s the indiginous people who have had multiculturalism and multiraciallsm imposed on them! They never asked for it, and neither were they consulted about it. Arrogant, eletist politicians decided this without any reference to them. You deliberately forget the inconvemient fact that no government has ever had a mandate for this, least of all the last Labour one that facilitated the biggest influx of immigrants in the country’s history, without the consent of the British people. It totally betrayed it’s core vote and should never be forgiven for doing so!

  11. The point the articles make is that whatever the party says about not being racist, it’s members aren’t exactly living up to it. Whether that’s a product of their ‘anyone’ candidate policy leading to them having ex-BNP/far-right councillors (despite their bizarre ban on those) or it’s a more that the party is racist at heart and the whole ‘we’re not racist’ is just the party trying to be PR friendly so they don’t alienate mainstream voters. Their reaction to some of the comments will tell us a lot about the party.

It’s Franco-German actually. As my ancestry in Britain is traceable back more than 7 generations I am an ethnic Brit.
    Ethnic.-n. ethnicity – an ethnic quality or affiliation resulting from racial or cultural ties;
Ethnicity can, but does not have to, include common ancestry, appearance, cuisine, heritage, history, language or dialect, religion, traditions, or other cultural factor.
The problem IMV is a lot of people fail to distinguish between ethnicity and race and the more extreme political parties blur this distinction. Which is a great pity.
