More Elections Information

For those amateur psephologists out there, some expanded data:

Despite the simultaneous General Election there are some remarkable results counter trend, that are perhaps best explained by glancing at the incumbent who, unless things change some will likely go down to glorious defeat.

It is perhaps, time for Gerald Smith to reconsider his avowed intention to seek re-election for yet one more term in the light of this data. There are one or two more that should also be hanging up their boots, the Russells’ for example!

  1. I believe Amy Rushforth is facing the biggest challange in Maltby. The voters have already showed that they will vote for TUSC with my election to Maltby Town Council, in which I received 60 percent of votes cast. The people are sick of the careerist labour politicians in Maltby and none typify that more than good old Kevin Baron’s daughter. Her vote was extremely weak in 2010 and now she faces a serious and credible challange I believe her time is comming to an end…

  2. Her father will face a massive challenge when he comes up for election as an MP in 2015. If UKIP can get 25% in Rotherham central, then we are at a tipping point in Rothervalley.

  3. Well said, Joe. Hope the voters distaste for Labour Party members in Maltby is strong enough to elect someone with the interests of the community at heart and less thought for their own pockets and pensions.
