  1. Wow, now that’s a real change in the stance taken by the Advertiser and who said they had fixed the Advertiser?

Fingers crossed more victims have the courage to come forward.

A well deserved pat on the back for the Editor and the reporter!

  2. That would be Sajid Bostan! That’s the man, who told me they had “fixed the Council, fixed the Police, fixed the Advertiser and fixed the local BBC!”
No amount of ‘sticking plaster’ or ‘Ostrich like behaviour’, will save their skins now! Those responsible, must now be brought to book!

  3. I’m glad ‘The Advertiser’ is seeming to begin to take the issue of grooming and the cover up more seriously. Maybe Ged’s letter pricked their conscience. You never know. (Well done Ged)

As for Mr Bostan. After listening to Radio Sheffield’s Asian Air broadcast (I posted this last week on Roth Pol) I think if he thinks he’s fixed the BBC he is ‘slightly’ deluded. Message to Mr Bostan ‘Jim thought he’d fixed it and look what happened to him.”

Regarding quotes, although it’s only from a film, this one sums up my attitude to the elected and non elected officials at RMBC involved in the grooming scandal and subsequent cover up.

“People shouldn’t be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.”

    SKT xxxx

PS: I ain’t afraid of Virginia Wolfe either.
