The opportunists arrive to steal the show!

I think it’s about time Sky news, BBC news & ITV news found out some home truths about people they interview.

Muhbeen Hussain, nephew of Cllr Look Duck Dive. This young chap seems to be getting himself on every bit of the “Rotherham Scandal” but is he the new, real representative of the Asian community here? Is there no one else in this backward town to represent the Asians?

Maybe it’s time more light was shed on this over passionate “speaker”.

Can’t they see that all he wants is a quick leap to fame.
I’ve heard that he was walking around every inch of the town centre, on Tuesday.Trying to find a cameraman, to get himself on the telly.
Talking about how the community was so shocked & disgusted by the revelations.
Yet not blaming uncle Moofy’s beloved Labour Party.
Of course Muhbeen & his entire family are staunch supporters of the Labour.
I’m told that his dad, Sabir Hussain is the chairman of a mosque in Eastwood, which has overdue accounts & is under scrutiny from the local surrounding community, because of the mismanagement of the mosque.
I also hear that the mosque was presented with a piece of islamic art by none other than Mr. Denis Mcshane.
Even after finding out about him being a supporter of Israel & a close friend of the Zionist movement, they still have Mcshane’s name decorating the wall of the mosque, on this piece of art.
They clearly support the Labour bus; which comes to the next point, is uncle Moofy sending his “minion” Muhbeen Hussain, to do his dirty work.
Is Muhbeen keeping the Asians honest?
Is this another instance of Labour keeping them keen, with a new emerging face?
Will the people be stupid enough to fall for it?

On the other hand we have Mr. Jahangir Akthar giving selective interviews, chucking his pals into the deep end & making himself look smoother than a babies backside.
I also notice that he recently made himself Ms Champion’s election agent.
Obviously so he can help her get the Asian vote.
That probably explains her recent “most child abusers are white males” interviews.
Well done Sarah. You keep listening to the god of the ASBOs I’m sure you’ll get the Pakistani vote again.
Anyway, let’s all wish Muhbeen, founder of the British Muslim youth, good luck in his new career as a Sky news reporter.
You’re welcome to use this rotten town as a platform for your new found fame.
You’ll not be the first Labour Party rat to have used the people here.

  1. You can tell by Hussain’s body language and manner, he is lying through his teeth. How anyone could believe this individual is beyond me but he ho that’s the media for you.

  3. Woah there! Are we talking about Rotherham, South Yorks? I grew up in Canklow in the mid 60’s-70’s,back then it was pretty much the preserve of hard working coal and steel families .I remember the the first PakistanI families moving into Canklow in the early ’70’s and despite the obvious cultural differences they integrated well. Having left to join the Royal Marines in the early ’80s I’ve seldom been back.I simply do not recognise the Rotherham you talk about where typically strong minded, opinionated and law abiding citizens would simply not have allowed this vile act to occur?.What changed?

    • “What changed?”
Where to begin? Let’s start with an open door immigration policy promoted and encouraged by the Labour government and welcomed by the supine numpty’s controlling Rotherham. We can add the disasterous consequences of the HRA which was neither properly considered nor enacted by Tony Blair with the encouragement of his highly paid QC wife.
Then we have Asian councillors who encouraged their supporters to play the race card and quote the HRA everytime any questions were asked of them coupled with a politicised police force who were breaking their collective necks to show they were embracing ‘diversity and multi-culturalism’ allied to poor and almost non existent leadership in Rotherham and South Yorkshire police.
This list is not exhaustive.but it does highlight some of the catastrophic decisions that were made at national and local levels to ensure ‘strong minded, opinionated and law abiding citizens’ were sidelined and marginalised ie: ‘Racist and Fascist’ are two of the words used if you disagreed with decisions that were made without consultations and which affect your daily lives.
      Here endeth the Lesson.

Immigrants from Kashmir and Sindh arrived in the Britain as early as the mid-seventeenth century, typically as lashkars and sailors in British port cities. The majority of British Pakistanis originate from the Kashmir and Punjab regions,
The biggest influx of Pakistani immigrants to Britain was during the 1950’s and 1960’s.

      • Now I know you had your tongue in your cheek when you wrote that!
Mandelson himself confessed that Labour ‘sent out search parties’ for immigrants: ‘In 2004, as a Labour government, we were not only welcoming people to come into this country to work, we were sending out search parties for people and encouraging them…’”
I was right when I wrote about Labour’s ‘open door immigration policy’

Yes Mandy is alleged to have said that, and you can spin it in more than one way:
        http://www.newstatesman.com/economics/2013/05/mandelsons-search-parties-are-sort-immigration-policy-mail-should-adore
…and, yes, aspects of Labour’s immigration policy were an utter disaster. But as I remember it, it was our opening the door wide to people from the new EU Countries – before Germany did, that was the problem – and not in any way related to immigration from the Commonwealth.
So if you are asked by the ex-Canklow poster what has happened to his town , you don’t say:
“Let’s start with an open door immigration policy promoted and encouraged by the Labour government ” .

I grew up in a small Lancashire cotton town – the one at the centre of the Rothdale CSE convictions. Having left the town in my mid-teens and never returning much since, I was just as shocked as the ex-Canklow poster was – when my home town made the headlines.

      • You should be able to get the information from the Police under Freedom of Information Act as Mubeen is now a public figure who happens to head a” Commuunitee” organisation and reasons for his arrest and warning. There may be a video of the meeting somewhere..

  7. Sabir is Secretary of the Eastwood Mosque. He has sought to redevelop the mosque and given a figure of cost of £600000. Others have had independent estimates done and the costs come to £350000 at most. So what is going to happen to the £250000 money contributed by the local community?

He must have felt so chuffed to appear with professional gob-on-a-stalks James Delingpole and Owen Jones; a future role he clearly aspires to.
Best bit is when Yasmin Alibhai-Brown slaps him down.

It doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere since then, and doesn’t appear to have any members other than Mubeen, but with Mubeen now at university it’s understandable – he has tho’ set up a sub-group at his college.
    Opportunist describes him well.

Whilst the media are saying that a major aspect of the problem is that the interface to the Kashmiri community is via “Unelected Male Community Leaders” – they go and dig out their own.

    • The Muslim Youth group was set up after receiving funding from Rotherham Council in form of community grant. A Freedom of Information Request to council will confirm either way. The Rotherham council have 20 days to reply to FOI request.
There were concerns about funding being received previously for Eastwood Mosque and not declared to the Mosque Committee to the tune of £20000 by Mubeen’s dad Sabir., in one year. Sabir set up a childrens club on Saturday mornings at the mosque where the children received at end of morning chicken and chips for £1,50 supplied by Sabir’s diner. Some trips/excursions were also organised but it is difficult to justify and reconcile how such a club justifies spending of £20,000 of tax payers money.
Others in the community are suspicious that Sabir has received further funding which he refuses to discuss or disclose and gets annoyed when questioned.

  9. All those in the public eye now trying to string others are at some point part and parcel of the councils decision making during the time this was going on.
Jhangir akhtar, lord Nazir Ahmed, Mahroof Hussain, Mr Abbassi, Mrs Qureshi – she told the daily male that all mosques knew about the issue but did nothing.
My question would be what did you do knowing this and were you not the advisor to the council with certain big wigs to get your MBE or what ever it is you got.

  10. I want to understand one thing. Now that we all know that Mubeen father is married to two women, will the police arrest him under Bigamy Act 1603? I bet not because they are all well connected. Rotherham is the worse place to be in UK if police don’t take action.

Furthermore Mubeen is right that the community is on the side of the victims and everyone should be bought to justice, I agree with him….except his father.

I don’t want to derail this thread, suffice to say my posts did not mention where immigrants come from. I know about the number of immigrants from Eastern Europe/Open Borders/Treaty of Nice and the Lisbon Treaty.

    Back on topic…………………
It is my belief Sky News and the BBC has concentrated on whoever volunteered to be interviewed when looking for comments on the Jay Report. it would have been better IMHO for both news organisations to go into investigative mode and actively seek comments from others who are implicated in this scandal.
Rather than keep trying to interview Wright (and that is getting boring) it is time we had a proper statement from Miliband and the question should be asked what is he going to do about party membership of all the Labour councillors who have subsequently been found to have some knowledge of what has happened during the past decade?

    • Colin, no problem!
I agree with you that much of the MSM (other than the excellent Times) has done little on the ground leg work .(and neither has the local press – who are more “press release” than “press”.)

Re: the Labour Party (- from Sky News. )
The Labour Party has suspended four members in the wake of a report into the Rotherham child abuse scandal.
Jahangir Akhtar and councillors Roger Stone, Gwendoline Ann Russell and Shaukat Ali will now be investigated by the party.
Labour said in a statement: “As Ed Miliband made clear last week large numbers of young in Rotherham were systematically abused and then let down by those who should have protected them.
“It cannot be allowed to stand.”
(as a hopeful side effect Sarah Champion won’t be stuck with Akhtar as election agent.)
