Why was Jacqui Collins missing from today’s council meeting? The three most senior council officers were absent (Yes I know Kimber and Thacker were being skewered and grilled in London)
Had she been ‘advised’ to stay away? Strangely enough she was on holiday when the Big News went through RMBC like a dose of the proverbial so I find it most curious the Legal and Monitoring Officer for RMBC was not at this crucial (for Labour councillors) meeting.
Is she practising Management by Remote Control?

The Lakin response to disaster is to dissolve the Town’s Cabinet. What’s the betting that the same faces re-appear in new positions in the new Cabinet?
It’s known as the Town Hall Tango.

Since it’s going to have 2 fewer members there will have to be some changes.
Other than that we will just have to wait and see … but he hasn’t much to choose from.
