Breaking News 23 February 2015

News has just come in concerning Jahangir Akhtar and his licence to drive Taxi’s.

It can be announced, that finally action has been taken and his licence revoked!

Rothpol understands the reasons to be linked to an announcement of further investigations, not yet in the public domain and also rumored to be linked to Mahroof Hussain’s spectacular fall from grace.

      • Surely the Charities Commission can confirm what Shaukat Ali is being paid from Diversity Forum. It is open secret with ÂŁ50000 as the figure given whilst Abbasi takes ÂŁ30000 allegedly and Parvaiz Khan ÂŁ25000 allegedly.
All should be disclosed by Charities commission.

One question I have is was there ever any Job Evaluation for the salaries allegedly being paid to Shaukat Ali, Abbasi and Khan given Diversity Forum is a Charitable organisation, especially to Shaukat Ali and Abbasi.

        • Please use lower case, capitals are regarded as shouting.
This is the second time I have heard this rumour, but hardly confirmation.
If anyone should have information on this or others be glad to have it as a comment or under private cover to rothpol@rikv.net, thanks, Rik.

    • Not interested in ethnicity, colour blind!
To not feature stories because of the ethnic origin of those involved, would be an affront and is precisely the reason Rotherham got in to this mess, in the first place.

      • Bloody Well Said Rothpol, every person I’ve spoken to from all walks of life, in pubs, working mens clubs and all ages are sick of these bleeding heart P.C. loonies. As you say this is how we ended up in this mess to begin with. Every one on Rothpol should read Danny Lockwood’s book “The Islamic Republic of Dewsbury” and just look at the similarities.

      • No one is being targeted, they may feature now because Casey in the committee meeting today refreshed our memories.
I can’t help it if Jahangir Akhtar and Mahroof Hussain were named as being responsible for the culture of undue pressure being used by them, to distort crucial parts of the councils duties in respect of, child protection and the licensing of the Taxi trade among others I have little doubt.
        Or have I missed something?

  1. It will be interesting to see if part time councillor Dalton-chair of the Taxi Licensing Committee-had the cajones to suggest his licence was revoked. Judging by her previous utterances I have my doubts she can stand up to him.

  2. Time you thought of the victims and young people being drugged, molested, gang raped and sexploited and stop playing the pc card.

  3. Colin could be right and if she did suggest it would she admit it? It takes guts to stand up to a powerful, corrupt and aggressive bully. The only way it can be stopped is if people are prepared to speak out and give hard evidence. Lets hope they can make it stick this time. He should be renamed Mr Teflon. As for somebody trying to play the race card, race has nothing to do with it and I for one am sick and tired of it being trotted out to intimidate people.
