First from Mike Hookem and two local citizen UKIP candidates

Thought readers might be interested in these two leaflets as they are the first from Mike Hookem and two local citizen UKIP candidates from the Wentworth & Dearne Constituency;

I only have them as .pdf’ files at the moment I am afraid, but they are available via the two links below:

Mike Hookem & Sandra Horridge, Hoober Ward

  1. “UKIP will fight for controlled migration. This will ease pressure on Wentworth & Dearne’s housing, medical and education services”, How will people migrating from UK to other countries ease pressure on housing, medical and education services?
    If you mean “UKIP will fight for controlled immigation” why not just say it!

  2. In full :
    Our Pledge to Wentworth & Dearne Residents
    •• UKIP opposes the “bedroom tax” because it operates unfairly and penalises the most vulnerable in our community
    •• UKIP will keep the NHS free at the point of need and clamp down on so-called “health tourism”
    •• UKIP would reduce foreign aid from £11bn to £2bn and use the savings to provide better public services and infrastructure
    •• UKIP will support our brave forces veterans – guaranteeing them priority on social housing waiting lists and a job in either the border force, prison service or the police
    •• UKIP will fight for controlled migration. This will ease pressure on Wentworth & Dearne’s housing, medical and education services
    •• Alan is committed to joining the other UKIP Rotherham councillors in fighting council waste and promoting openness and transparency

  3. The pdf was really useful – I’d been trying to work out what typefaces they were using for their campaign and getting nowhere; and the pdf names them..
    They turn out to be Interstate-black, Interstate-light, and Minion Pro – all available as free downloads.
    UKIP do have a Style Guide for web-based material, but nothing for print-based as far as I know:
