If UKIP can’t do well in Rotherham,with all it’s problems , then it will be a busted flush. We’re basically having a referendum on Europe too.

I prefer to wait and see how the people voted before examining what the results might be telling us.
Or is this an attempt to denegrate one of the voters potential choices, before they have chosen? The voters are not fools, disrespect them at your peril! They are more engaged than they have been for many a year and expect that to develop further, for next years ‘all out elections’.

I very muchdoubt if Anonymouse was referring to the council elections – given, as you say, that there is an “all out” council election next year and the Commissioners are currently in charge.
More likely s/he was referring the the Parliamentary Elections, which do have an impact on a referendum on membership of the EU.
