Ed Miliband still thinks he was right. But so do some Conservatives
The defeated Labour leader is asking questions that some Tories think need to be answered
Ed Miliband is back. A well-judged speech from the backbenches during a debate on the Queen’s Speech looked like it was humble and self-deprecating.
In fact, it was nothing of the sort, at an intellectual level, anyway. Yes, he said nice things about the Conservatives, and had a nice joke about his son mocking him. But at the level of political theory, there was no repentance, no regret.
