Rotherham child sex abuse suspect denied bail

A CHILD sex abuse suspect arrested this week after he reportedly fled the country two months ago – has been remanded in custody.

Officers arrested Basharat Hussain (38), of no fixed address, at Manchester Airport on Wednesday.

Rotherham child grooming suspect remanded in custody by magistrates

A Rotherham child grooming suspect will be kept in custody until his next court date after appearing before magistrates.

Basharat Hussain, 38, from Goole, appeared at Rotherham Magistrates Court this morning after being arrested at Manchester Airport on Wednesday on suspicion of 15 offences, alleged to have occurred between 1996 and 2001.

  1. The choice was either living in Pakistan, a third world country without a welfare system and comming back here, even with the distinct possibility of a lengthy sentence in our holiday camp prisons, it was forgone conclusion which he would choose.
