Rally Against the TU Bill – Barnsley 13 Oct 2015

It has been reported on Facebook, there was an excellent turnout for a trade unionist rally which was staged last night, outside Barnsley Town Hall.

It was staged to campaign against the Tories vindictive trade union bill.

This bill has been labelled by a leading Tory MP, as being more akin to 1930s under Franco and Hitler.

It is an attack on civil and human rights.

They also wish to further exploit agency labour, by using it as a charter for a scab workforce, but on the minimum wage.

MOST unions were represented including PCS, UNITE, UCU, BAKERS, POA AND UNISON WITH WORKING PEOPLE FROM EVERY SECTOR.

It was stated that, as with all bad laws, the public will need to defy the bad law if imposed.

I am told there are pictures and info about the bill on google and you tube.

Grateful for any good links, Rik.

  1. I thought it was the Unions who wanted to ban demonstrations and rallies, they are the ones who want the Britain First demonstrators banned from our streets. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! Oh, sorry I forgot, it’s Labour who support the unions so they can do what they want in a Labour dictatorship.
