Rotherham trial: Girl’s diary detailing abuse ‘disappeared’ after being given to police
The sister of one of defendant Arshid Hussain’s alleged victims said South Yorkshire Police had been given a diary that contained ‘everything that happened’ to her as a teenager.
She told a jury at Sheffield Crown Court that the family have subsequently been told the diary, along with an 11-page statement from her father, have been lost.

On this side of the big street, the police claimed that the evidence statements of abused vulnerable women never existed ! – despite the fact the witness statements were the subject of a formal complaint against the police, denied by the police, but upheld by the IPCC on appeal.
Then what did the police do? Absolutely nothing- and the women have continued to be abused for four years, with neither the local authority not police willing to listen to them, despite repeated promises. So what did the IPCC do? Nothing – claiming that only the Chief Constable has the power to enforce action – who also refuses to even acknowledge their cries for help. Now, will Billings keep his promise to meet with them ? – not yet, despite numerous ignored attempts to do so. As sad as this picture is, CSE is but one facet of an institutionalised culture of systemic and systematic abuse in this region, where the collusion in cover-ups has become existential. Only outside intervention has any possibility of ridding this region of its cancerous corruption.

Billings wont do a thing until the May elections are out of the way. Straight after this Trial, the Labour lot will be out in force trying to quash anything to do with CSE.
