Crime Agency chief under fire for child protection
The new head of the National Crime Agency has been defended by police and politicians in the face of criticism that she failed to act over child protection concerns in her previous role.
Lynne Owens, the former chief constable of Surrey police, was appointed in November as director-general of the NCA, which fights organised crime and includes the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command.

Personally I find the Surrey PCC’s behaviour very very strange.
