  1. Nice if you can get it. Wonder if anyone will be classed as responsible for not acting to protect the young people of Rotherham. Perhaps the lowest paid part time worker will be held responsible, you know the one who reported her worries to the Council in the first place, but nothing was done.

  2. Actually might be better to have auditors look what was done with the money which was in the budget to deal with this problem.

  3. I recall Private eye describing them as specialists in conducting whitewashes for rotten boroughs. Just to choose this firm sends a loud message that the council wants this to stay buried. Plus ca change. That we should have to pay for this cover up adds insult to injury.
We must gather the evidence on these managers and then bring private prosecutions.

  5. In my view, no legal firm should ever be allowed to carry out such investigations. We all know that lawyers will sell out to the highest bidder, therefore whoever pays them gets the result THEY want!! We saw this when Scargill paid lawyers, using NUM money to investigate whether he had paid off his mortgage during the miners strike, using strike funds. The result was a forgone conclusion. Bent or what?
