Rotherham town council bids to become ‘neighbourhood area’

Dinnington St. John’s Town Council has submitted an application to Rotherham Council to designate Dinnington St. John’s Parish as a proposed neighbourhood area.

If successful, it would be the first area in Rotherham to have a neighbourhood plan, which help communities shape how development will look in their area.

  2. Rotherham don’t like the idea they have dragged their feet for months using the excuse that we are the first. I would urge all parish councils to do this.

    • Good news Dave. As the s25 area has become a back water for Rotherham borough. Even better if we left the borough altogether and went back to the 1975 districts, which are now much higher populated.
