Police ‘too scared’ to stop vote rigging in Muslim areas, damning report finds

VOTE rigging in Muslim communities goes unchallenged because police are too scared of being “politically correct”, a damning Government report has revealed.

The study, headed by Sir Eric Pickles, found that authorities are not doing enough to stamp out bullying and religious intimidation among Asian authorities during the lead up to elections. The report has even called for a dramatic overhaul of the electoral system, warning the “integrity of democracy” is at stake.Read on… http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/699204/police-vote-rigging-muslim-communities-eric-pickles-luftur-rahman-tower-hamlets-report

Election fraud allowed to take place in Muslim communities because of ‘political correctness’, report warns

Election fraud has been allowed to take place in Muslim communities because of “political correctness”, a major report finds as it calls for unprecedented reforms to the British voting system.

In a report commissioned by the Government, Sir Eric Pickles, the former Conservative Cabinet minister, today warns that the authorities are in a “state of denial” and are “turning a blind eye” to election fraud.

He said that there is evidence of voter fraud “especially in communities of Pakistani and Bangladeshi background” but that the cases have been ignored because of “over-sensitivities about ethnicity and religion”.

Political correctness to blame for Town Hall fraud says Pickles – the Bradford connection

POLITICAL correctness has led the Government to turn a blind eye to town hall corruption, the first review into election fraud has found.

The author of the report, Tory former minister Sir Eric Pickles, criticised councils, the police and the election watchdog for failing to detect and prevent the spread of electoral corruption in the UK.

The report was commissioned by David Cameron in the wake of a High Court hearing last year when Lutfur Rahman, the former mayor of Tower Hamlets in east London, was found guilty of corrupt and illegal practices and forced to step down.

  1. All made easier by postal voting. This problem will continue until we insist on voting in person with photo identification and verification of identity before being included in the register.

  2. Even with photo identification and verification of identity muslim women will still vote as their fathers, brothers, spouses tell them to there is no way this will ever be tackled

    • But unless the Muslim male insists on seeing the ballot slip or coming into the booth to watch which way the female votes they will not know how they voted. The clerks should not allow this to happen. The whole system needs tightening up. Eric Pickle’s recommendations need to be acted on and not forgotten until the next vote rigging scandal.
