Child sex abuse trial: Alleged victim “made up” rape claims

A MAN accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl has told a court she had made up the allegations because he “didn’t get on with her former partner.”

Ex-boxer Waleed Ali (34) is charged with rape and indecently assaulting the girl in 2003 in Boots alleyway and Clifton Park when he was aged 19 to 20.

He is on trial with seven other men charged with sexually exploiting the girl, now 27.
