Rotherham child abuse: Eight jailed for rape and sexual abuse of three girls
Eight men who sexually abused three teenage girls in Rotherham between 1999 and 2003 have been jailed.
The men, all from Rotherham, are Sageer Hussain, Mohammed Whied, Ishtiaq Khaliq, Waleed Ali, Asif Ali, Masoued Malik, Basharat Hussain and Naeem Rafiq.
They were jailed at Sheffield Crown Court, having been convicted of a total of 16 charges after a trial.
The offences included rape, indecent assault and false imprisonment.

EIGHT friends and relatives who sexually abused three teenage girls have been jailed for a total of 96 years.
The grooming gang were found guilty of 19 sexual offences on October 17 following a four-week trial at Sheffield Crown Court and were remanded in custody.
Her Honour Judge Sarah Wright sentenced the gang today (Friday) at the same court.
Fourth brother jailed for child sex offence
FOUR brothers who were instrumental in grooming and sexually exploiting schoolgirls in Rotherham have all now been jailed.
Sageer Hussain (31) will today follow his brothers Arshid Hussain (41), Basharat Hussain (40) and Bannaras Hussain (37) in beginning a prison sentence for rape and sexual abuse.
The three older Hussain brothers were jailed in February this year after being found guilty of 48 sexual offences against 20 children as young as 12 between 1987 and 2003 following a ten-week trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

Eight men have been given jail sentences of up to 19 years for sexually exploiting teenage girls in Rotherham.
A month-long trial at Sheffield Crown Court heard how the men “sexualised” their victims and, in some instances, subjected them to acts of a “degrading and violent nature”.
One girl and her family told police and their MP and then home secretary David Blunkett about the abuse and eventually moved to Spain to get away from the men.
