Ex – deputy leader – £2000 legal costs to Rotherham Council:

I refer to your request below.

I can confirm that a cost award was made against Mr Akhtar in respect of his Licensing appeal in the sum of £2000. Mr Akhtar has made an arrangement with the Council to pay the £2000 by instalments. The payments have started and have been maintained in accordance with the arrangements.

It is not possible to provide further information as to the amounts paid due to data privacy requirements of the relevant data protection legislation.
