  1. The SYP officer who did nothing but deterre my daughter from persuing justice, must have missed this memo. He was working out of riverside house, so thatl be why. Even though he had been told by me and a worker from “GROW”,(support worker) not to speak to my ďaughter without a third party present, he has twice turned up unannounced and alone. After asking if she still wanted to pursue the case, he went on to tell her, the pedophile is denying it, the witnesses (his family) wont do a statement against him, the policeman then went on to question her lifestyle choices, now.

    • Your comment really doesn’t surprise me. I’m angry and sad that SYP are still shoving those with allegations into a deep, dark corner where they can’t be heard.

So much f’g corruption and denial of the issues in Rotherham…it turns my stomach.

  2. Why can’t failure to follow proper procedure be a sanctionable offence. If this officer is turning up alone and unannounced, why isn’t he being reprimanded by his superiors? There needs to be stronger consequences for officers of this type, as it shows a disregard for the victim, and a lack of commitment to a proper investigation of the crime itself.
