A Better Future Together A Vision For Our Region

Sheffield’s two Universities and Sheffield Teaching Hospital Trust have been working during 2016 with the Sheffield City Region Combined Authority (CA), the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and many public, private and community partners, to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of Sheffield City Region (SCR) and to explore ways to build on those strengths and overcome the weaknesses so that the economic and social potential of the Region can be maximised.

  1. I notice that when it talks about the green belt there is no mention of Rothervalley, where the intention is to take great swathes of it to build houses that our region doesn’t need. Also a factory estate that won’t be used to create jobs for our people. No wonder it is called the Sheffield city region because this is all being done for Sheffield with the cowardly aquiesence of RMBC.
