Rotherham child sexual abuse investigation (Operation Stovewood)

Operation Stovewood is the National Crime Agency investigation into non-familial child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, between 1997 and 2013.

It is the largest ever investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) undertaken by law enforcement, with more than 1,400 potential victims and 1,200 suspects. The complexity of the investigation is unparalleled.

Victims and survivors have been exploited or abused by many individuals, in locations across the UK over a number of years. The majority of suspects have offended against more than one victim and many have been involved in organised trafficking.

Sabine you are under a court order not to repeat these types of accusations and you know you pleaded guilty in court to harassment charges. You WILL end in jail and society will be a lot better off for it and safer for awhile.

Operation Stovewood has been running for the best part of 2 years now

“It is the largest ever investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) undertaken by law enforcement, with more than 1,400 potential victims and 1,200 suspects. The complexity of the investigation is unparalleled.”

And yet thus far the return on this investment is pitifully small

Three men have been charged with a total of 15 offences of indecent assault against a child in Rotherham, following an independent investigation by the National Crime Agency (NCA).

Riaz Makhmood, aged 38 (01/03/78), Sajid Ali, aged 37 (25/03/79) and Zaheer Iqbal, 39 (06/11/77), all from the Masbrough area of Rotherham, have been charged with assaulting a girl aged under 14 between June 1994 and June 1995.

Riaz Makhmood faces three charges of indecent assault; Sajid Ali faces seven charges of indecent assault and Zaheer Iqbal faces five charges of indecent assault.”

No police, council officials, politicians have been charged with anything – not even misconduct in a public office.

Where’s the political pressure to speed matters up?

And yet another one that gone under the national media “radar”
