Public event to discuss 2,400-home Greasbrough plan

A DEVELOPMENT of 2,400 homes on land removed from the green belt will be the subject of a public drop-in event.

Work could start of building properties at Bassingthorpe Farm in Greasbrough in 2020, it was announced late last year.

More information about the project will be given at a public drop-in session at Greasbrough Primary School on Thursday, April 27, from 4pm to 8pm.

    Will there be the usual commitment for council housing within the plan to provide genuine affordable housing?
    Probably set at a paltry figure to maximise profits?
    Allowing council and developers the usual slippage to renege on?
