Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was greeted with huge cheers and applause by supporters as he rolled into Sheffield on the latest leg of the general election campaign.

Some supporters had waited patiently for hours in the Shirecliffe Community Centre car park to get the chance to meet Mr Corbyn and the Labour leader posed for selfies and took time out to speak to dozens individually.

Speaking to the crowds, Mr Corbyn promised to increase spending on the NHS, police, bring back grants for students and providing free meals to Sheffield primary school children.

    Not a mention of the CSE in Sheffield or Rotherham or the children/families affected which was on his parties watch.Shame on you Mr Corbyn and the Labour Party

    “Hundreds” of whom ?. Party members of members of the general public. It is highly unlikely that “hundreds” of ordinary members of public waited “hours”
    They kid no one, we all know these meetings are organised and attended by loyal Party members with communist trade union supporters taking time off from the council`s they work for.
