Just a couple of days worth in Eastwood

From the weekend, dumped around Eastwood.

Once again a truck will be sent in for a “free collection” when other people have to pay.

  1. Can anyone from the council please let the rest of Rotherham know about this totally free collection service contact number, or is it just for the Romanian and Slovakian communities, everyone other tax payer has to pay for there’s, yet it free to immigrants?

  2. Its a total disgrace, not just eastwood but rotherham its shelf, if the landlords agreement was enforced properly as it was set to be, images like this wouldn’t be happening on a daily basis, the chief executive should be so ashamed of how this council is run, maybe its time for her resignation, online vote if you agree

  3. Hoddinott is incharge of Rotherham waste maybe if we all drop it off outside her house so she can arrange free collection she just may just do her job and get this sorted and start enforcing the land lord licences

    • It absolutely was.

Add into that that UKIP group leader Cllr Allen Cowles constantly brought up Eastwood… with Hoddinott often replying that he should ask about Whiston… in essence stop asking about their failures.

  4. We have the same problem in areas of Dinnington, Hoddinot won’t meet us and the ward councillors are playing dodge. It is a problem all over Rotherham and Hoddinot has failed to take any of these problems serious, she is not fit for purpose.

    • Eastwood, Ferham, Wellgate, what is the common denominator ? Its not to hard to work out for local born people of Rotherham is it, all the dregs of the world that no one wants in their country but encouraged to come an live in theses areas by our good old Liebour party and council. But its Ok for all our LOCAL Mps and councilers that don’t live in these areas to keep turning a blind eye to everything we don’t want to upset the poor darlings, after all we were told by all the Liebor councilers that went to parts of Europe on their little free trips how nice these Roma gipsys were and the culture they would bring to Rotherham, keep sending them their tax payers benefits and keep sending the dustbin lorrys to pick all their crap up, What you want a bed disposing of, that will cost you £25 sir because you are a local born and bred tax payer. Yes sir but if you chuck in the street you will be liable for a big fine.

  7. I wonder if Hoddinott- her of limited intelligence and communication skills- realises that collecting rubbish free of charge from one section of the community only puts her and RMBC in breach of the Equalities Act?
Perhaps it would be cruel to suggest Hoddinott’s act of generosity in Eastwood is closely linked to gathering votes at election time? If she spent her time properly and wisely and enforced the rules this ridiculous situation would not arise nor would she be a sitting target for those of us who remember she was also publicly outed as ‘Not Fit for Purpose’.

  8. Every officer involved in the landlord licencing fiasco should be publicly named and shamed then made to explain why they should keep their very well paid jobs.

This should be done at the next council full meeting. They should be paraded out and made to face the shameful, disgraceful mess they have made.

New open and honest council? No chance, same old, same old.

  9. Eastwood again, Hoddinott’s grave yard, with no one taking her seriously any longer the focus turns to Read. But what to do when a pillow pal becomes a colleague it is difficult and where would he move her to. When it comes to leadership he is more Captain Flop rather than Captain Fantastic. His options are limited, only cohesion where Yasheen’s politically correct outbursts along side the failure of scrapping AA’s, have labelled her as inept, but it his only option, though she is not the only failure.
Of course they could both ride off into the sunset, but Hoddinott sees herself on a bigger stage in a bigger cabinet, even if no one else does.
And what would happen to the leadership, there are no obvious successors, but that does not stop politicians, there are a number with ego, if not ability that is secondary.
Time is limited, the window of opportunity is closing, if he does act soon his own failure will surely emerge.
