Child abuser shouts “no justice” as he begins prison term

ONE of three child abusers shouted “no justice” as he was jailed for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl more than 20 years ago.

The Masbrough men — Riaz Makhmood (39), of Falding Street, Sajid Ali (38), of James Street, and Zaheer Iqbal (40), of St John’s Avenue — were convicted of 15 child sex offences following a week-long trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

Ali and Iqbal were both sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for seven and five counts of sexual assault respectively.

Makhmood was jailed for six years and nine months for three counts.

Rotherham child sex abuse case: Three men jailed

Three men have been jailed following the first trial to come out of the National Crime Agency’s inquiry into historical sex abuse in Rotherham.

Sajid Ali, 38, Zahe

er Iqbal, 40, and Riaz Makhmood, 39, were convicted of a total of 15 counts of indecent assault on a teenage girl.

The men plied the girl with alcohol and encouraged her to perform sex acts.

She told Sheffield Crown Court their actions had ruined her teenage years.

One member of a group of South Yorkshire men, jailed for over 21-years for grooming and abusing a young girl, shouted ‘no justice’ as he was escorted out of the court to begin his sentence.

Judge David Dixon sentenced Riaz Makhmood, 39 to six years, nine months and gave both Sajid Ali, 38, and Zaheer Iqbal, 40 sentences of seven-and-a-half-years, after the three defendants were found unanimously guilty of 15 counts of indecent assault.

At the time of the alleged grooming the groomers where boys themselves the youngest 14 years old,if they had that much of a hold on her the grooming wouldn’t have stopped when she was stopped by her mum from coming into masbrough when your own mother says under oath in court that she wasn’t concerned about her behaviour it makes you think that it was a fix
