Outside work needs approval, council warns

HOUSEHOLDERS are being reminded to check with council officials before carrying out any work on the pavements outside their properties.

Rotherham Borough Council said several homes in the borough had had unauthorised work carried out to “drop” kerbs leading to their driveways.

However, the council said people may not be aware that permission was needed from the local authority’s highways department before such work took place.

  1. Well, well, well, if the cap fits Clumpy Hoddinott just does not like it.

    Touting for business is definitely not a skill she possesses but oh, nearly forgot, she sends everybody else out so she doesn’t get her hands dirty………doubt she will hitting any sales targets.

    Rotherham ratepayers will tell her where to get off and go and get a real job.
