Save the Children staff demand removal of international chairman Sir Alan Parker

Staff at Save The Children demanded the removal of its international chairman today, saying accountability for sexual misconduct by two former executives must not end with their resignations this week.

A petition was launched calling for Sir Alan Parker, founder of one of the world’s most powerful public relations companies, to be removed as chairman of Save The Children International.

It also seeks public disclosure of details of the inquiries that the charity conducted into claims by young women employees that they were subject to unwanted attentions from Justin Forsyth, its former chief executive, and Brendan Cox, its former policy director.
