Four Kashmiri women in a vicious attack on MP Sarah Champion: Why?

A report that they helped write accuses Champion of “fanning the flames of racial hatred.”

Most worrying is it identifying Sara as callous in making racist comments on the anniversary of the thuggish, nasty, hate murder of Mushin Ahmed in 2015.

It says…

“Exactly two years later…even as Mr Ahmed’s family and community remembered his horrific murder for no other reason than that he was a Muslim male from Rotherham ….. their Member of Parliament, Sarah Champion, was fanning the flames of racial hatred by calling out ‘British Pakistani men’ as sexual predators who work in gangs to groom and sexually exploit mainly white pubescent girls.”

In my opinion this is verges on incitement to hate. Why even mention the sad murder of Mr Ahmed in the same context of Sarah Champion, if not to besmirch her and thereby intentionally or not, flag her up as a target? They seem to have disregarded the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox, and the threats to all MPs.

The report itself is based on a “pretend” academic study whose comments and recommendations are intended to be drawn from an opinion survey of 160 people.

The survey is deeply flawed with a very dodgy methodology. Respondents were invited by the authors themselves via email or links found on their tweets and Facebook pages.

There is no indication of over what period the questionnaire was available, and the questions were drawn up by people who seem to have no visible experience in opinion polling.

It is interesting that the report reproduces and expands comments by the publisher’s* Chairman six months before publication, and a few before work on the survey began.

Now I ask why this witch hunt dressed up as fact?

Since her comments Sarah has admitted to naivety by giving them to the Sun newspaper and has apologised that she placed herself in a position where she could be quoted out of context.

The report admits “The survey does not provide evidence of any direct correlation between racist and Islamophobic attacks post the Champion article and media interviews and what Sarah Champion wrote and spoke in the media”. Being frank, because there isn’t any.

You may wonder why I lead with “four Kashmiri women” aspect, and not mention the two men involved? Simply it’s because Sarah Champion has done more to defend women from domestic and sexual violence than they can dream. Seems they find it easier to attack Sarah Champion than to confront the misogyny in some of their men.

I expect better of them. And the question must be asked why did you pick on this of all the millions of issues surrounding violence against women? Why did these “sisters” channel their wroth on to another, very effective campaigning “sister.”

Could it be anything to do with efforts to insert a Muslim Labour candidate into the next parliamentary elections.

  1. Wow, this one really takes the biscuit.
How brazen can these oafs get?
Go to press cuttings of rape gang prosecutions in the UK. List the names of the convicted criminals. Nearly 90% are Muslim names. People of Pakistani origin constitute less than 2% of the population.
Muslim the last time I checked relates to a major world religion that has many good and devout followers. It is not specific to any race. So where does racism come into this.
There are now many books by survivors of Muslim grooming gangs, all by white women who were groomed as children and raped, trafficked and abused in a common modus operandi. There is the academic Peter Mcloughlin listed here and the book by whistle blower Jayne Senior. The all tell the same story.
If there has been racism it is the racial contempt these perpetrators have shown towards the white working class.
The Incitement to hate has not so much come from any words by a politician but from the detestable and hateful acts of gang rapists who like the cowards they are have hunted in packs like so many mangy dogs.
The sad result of this is and will be that good innocent people will be harmed in irrational responses to these multiple crimes.

  2. In the last 12 hours there has been a TV discussion on this subject. The question was asked – how and why have less than 2% of the population from one community been responsible for over 87% of CSE ? Unless and until all members of the offending community, not just the perpetrators, accept the reality of what has happened and continues to happen, there can never be any closure. This process includes the mandatory public admittance that that there are serious historical, cultural, misogynistic and racist attitudes that must be addressed and eliminated. Now let those ladies come forward and publicly condemn the vile acts, and show that they have the power to stop their menfolk abusing. As for the political angle, would these pages put up more details?

  4. It is not the truthful article that Sarah Champion wrote and was published in the Sun that was the problem, but that she resigned her post in the shadow cabinet for having done so, that was the problem. For if we all allow ourselves to be silenced for speaking the truth about wrongdoing then evil flourishes. There appears to be an insidious attempt to have her replaced as the Labour candidate with a Muslim.

  5. If “Pleasant” is referring to the LBC programme which was televised I watched it and would imagine that it will be available on Youtube should anyone wish to view it. It makes interesting viewing as one of the people is Muslim himself but does not hold back when it comes to telling it like it is ! Interestingly enough the only person who seems to muddy the waters is the presenter who quotes statistics from a different study to show that paedophiles from the white population are more numerous than Pakistani / Bangladeshi men committing these types of offences ! That, from her looks, she appears to be “Asian” never crossed my mind ! Honest ! I am heartily sick of these Pakistani gang rapists being referred to as Paedos when they are RAPISTS, HUMAN TRAFFICKERS AND DRUG DEALING PIMPS !!

  6. I don’t get this quoted out of context, Sun twisted it, or whatever. This is, ostensibly at least, a comment piece written by her

“BRITAIN has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls.

There. I said it. Does that make me a racist? Or am I just prepared to call out this horrifying problem for what it is?”

Is this her view not? Obviously it’s true, Britain does have a major problem with Pakistani group/gang CSE. But a little clarity might be helpful

  7. For Sarah Champion the chickens have come home… She was aware of CSE, but completely disregarded, ignored all evidence against Pakistani men who she was very cosy with. Once it was exposed she dropped these men and went all pious and to save her skin, started blaming them. She is one of the most disingenuous, unprincipled, hypocritical person and if she loses her parliamentary position then she has herself to blame. Although it would be really unpalatable if she were to be replaced by a Muslim candidate.

  8. It is a reliable indication of guilt when experienced men willfully conflate Islamophobia with Racism, and then attempt to use both to avoid accountability. The purposes are easy to glean. One theory is that a small group of self-interested men, and one in particular, is attempting to exploit the CSE issue for political gain, and through the use of misinformation, propaganda or fake news, manipulate public perception and sycophants for support that will later be translated into votes. Another theory is that the ‘incentive’ to vote for the political manipulator is that the community that is most guilty of the CSE is being offered a retrospective rationalisation that would appear to assuage their guilt and thus possibly avoid collectively being held to account. Let’s get back to basics: Evil crimes were carried out. The fact of the ethnic background is not an issue for racialisation, but a simple matter of evidence. These brutal crimes were contrary to Islam, so attempting to cowardly hide behind a religious flag is reprehensible, the religion of the perpetrators is also irrelevant, yet their own actions are Islamophobic by their self-association. What is sadly missing is the relative silence and lack of effective intervention by the ethnic and religious leaders to loudly, repeatedly and publicly condemn these rapists for what THEY are – Islamophobic Racists !
