Baroness Warsi: Conservatives must act on Islamophobia

Theresa May should publicly acknowledge that Islamophobia is a problem in the Conservative Party, former party chairman Baroness Warsi has said.

Parts of the party had been “in denial” about the issue and a “clear statement” was needed about what was to be done to tackle it, she told the BBC.

The Muslim Council of Britain has urged the Tories to launch an independent inquiry into alleged Islamophobia. Read on…

  1. Why do we have a “Muslim Council of Britain” ?? I am pretty sure the Saudi regime doesn’t allow a British Council of British Christians in their country or any other muslin country for that matter. I would have hoped that “Baroness” Warsi realised that the term “Islamaphobia” is a made up term coined by that nice bunch of folk known as the Muslim Brotherhood !!

  2. Hell will freeze over before the Tory party gets a grip of its racist members, it fits with the populist narrative that swayed the Bexit vote, attacking a minority group in this case members of the Muslim community will be viewed as a potential vote winner.

The Tory party must have been very pleased with the way the anti-Semitism smear directed at Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour party was weaponised by the MSM.

You do have to ask yourself why the MSM are not covering the anti-Islam story with such vigour?

  3. Warsi is a snake

“Baroness Warsi, the first Muslim woman to sit in Cabinet, handed official posts to people linked to Islamist groups, including a man involved in an “unpleasant and bullying” campaign to win planning permission for the controversial London “megamosque” proposed by a fundamentalist Islamic sect.”

Nor of course is Warsi the only snake in the grass, she’s got plenty of company

“As late as 2010 the Muslim Council of Britain (representing some 500 Muslim organisations) was still saying the Muslim grooming gangs were “a racist myth” (see Appendix 12 of my book Easy Meat).”

Islamophobia is a deceitful oxymoron. But is it really any suprise that there is such fear and distrust of this religion?
