Sajid Javid clashes with Muslim Council over Islamophobia

The Muslim Council of Britain is unrepresentative, Sajid Javid, the home secretary, said as he rejected its call for an investigation into alleged Islamophobia in the Conservative Party.

The council, an umbrella body for hundreds of mosques and other organisations, has said that it witnesses incidents of Islamophobia from party officials, candidates and supporters “more than weekly”. It urged the party to launch an independent inquiry.

  1. I understand that Javid is avoiding the issue using the excuse that he will not deal with the MCB as some of their members have made comments supporting militant action, if this allegation is correct then is Javid not being a hypocrite?

    The Tory party bungs the DUP millions of our money for eight votes, members of the DUP have known associations to terrorist groups and DUP members have made some pretty awful hateful comments as they go about their political campaigning.
