Child sexual abuse victims who believe the police response has been inadequate in South Yorkshire have been told to take their concerns directly to the county’s police and crime commissioner after it emerged an investigation has been launched into an alleged failure to act over an historic complaint of a sex crime against a vulnerable boy.
Former hairdresser Giovanni Miccoli is now serving four and a half years prison for eight offences against a 15 year old boy, committed in 2015 but it has emerged he was reported to police in 2006 over allegations of a sexual assault on another boy.
IF the PCC is colluding with SYP in ensuring that child abuse is neither investigated or prosecuted, then what ‘assurance’ can Billings give? There is an ongoing case where Billings has all the evidence of SYP failures with respect to ONGOING child abuse yet he fails to act appropriately.

Oh really! oh wow! the Cumishuner gonna get involved – yeah that’ll really get the rozzers quivering in their boots.
This affair is going exactly the same way as Hillsborough and Orgreave and the great cumishuner is going to resolve absolutely nothing

Thank.you for That! Establishing the legal position, is usually a good idea before the problems start, rather than afterwards.

“…take their concerns directly to the Police and Crime Commissioner” You mean the Commissioner who has excused the cover up on the grounds the police did didn’t understand the grooming process. As though there were ever a time when people didn’t know the gang rape and torture of children was wrong. Good luck with that!
