SPECIALIST youth workers in Rotherham have been handed £1 million to continue and expand their work protecting young people.
The Barnardo’s ReachOut centre, off Moorgate Road, was given the cash from the Home Office’s Trusted Relationship Fund.
Crime minister Victoria Atkins visited ReachOut yesterday (Tuesday) to announce more than £12 million to be split between 11 areas nationally.
A welcome start.
But they need to now start treating vulnerable adults and people with learning disabilities with some respect and dignity.
