Former Labour MP Marshall-Andrews defects to Lib Dems

Former Labour MP Bob Marshall-Andrews has defected to the Lib Dems after describing Jeremy Corbyn’s party as a “political basket case”.

Mr Marshall-Andrews told The Times he had jumped ship in light of the Brexit campaign and Labour’s refusal to stand aside in the Richmond Park by-election.

    • A “Corbyn loyalist” you say.

That’s a little surprising, as I have asked him three times now whether he agreed with Jeremy Corbyn’s statement that Ken Livingstone’s latest outburst was ‘offensive and grossly insensitive’.

After ducking and diving in his first two responses, and having given a clear response to his diversionary irrelevant question, he’s simply refused to answer now. See

It appears that he has caught that Cavenvinesitis disease.

Or, perhaps, he is too busy drinking expensive champagne with Mr McClusky to find the time to answer?

  2. Surely he’ll av to fight off Ms hearts and minds Hoddinett first. It seems that she’ll probably apply for every vacant seat going she’s that desperate to get her 85,000 quid salary and gold plated pension. No matter who in the labour party gets elected in the various boroughs it seems that Labour is doomed as a viable opposition cos they certainly won’t get in to government !!

  4. I see the Rotherham three are hanging in there
I wonder who the will sue this time round
    To top up their pension
Or may be Barron needs a new roof on his tax payers subsidised Derbyshire mansion
Or may be Healey needs to put a bigger deposit down on his new house he wants to buy
Or maybe saint Sarah wants a new pony
One thing is for sure its not for the good of Rotherham
