Police identify ‘hundreds’ of Rotherham child sex offenders
About 300 potential offenders have been identified in an investigation into child sex abuse in Rotherham, the National Crime Agency (NCA) has said.
The inquiry, named Operation Stovewood, began last December in the wake of the Jay report which estimated there were 1400 victims of abuse in the town between 1997 and 2013.
Police said that estimate “remains a very good assessment”.
The NCA said it expected to expand its inquiry over the next few weeks.
NCA senior investigating officer Steve Baldwin said more than 3,300 lines of inquiry had been identified by Operation Stovewood and other investigations under the agency’s leadership.

@FX 1400++ abused children, 300 and counting Pakistani criminals walking about Rotherham. Sarah Champion was an irrelevance when she arrived, she will be when she leaves. But the pain of the victims and there families will be forever. But doesn’t it say it all about the good voters of Rotherham, they voted for a party that cover up for such criminals .

Well theyl know who they are and be booking their flights, before their charged. And what of the “professional” abusers? Social workers , police officers,strategic directors , cabinet members for children. All frauds all abused their position and all colluded and conspired.
