Tim Farron today sacked David Ward as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Bradford East after a storm over his anti-Semitic remarks.
Mr Farron said Mr Ward was ‘unfit to represent the party’ less than 24 hours after his selection was confirmed. As well as being sacked he has been suspended from the party.
This was after Theresa May criticised Farron at PMQ’s today for allowing Ward to stand.
