Compass gets a new National Co-Ordinator – Jacqui Howard

Hi –JacquiI’m super excited to join the Compass family as the new National Coordinator. I’m here to support you on our journey to build a Good Society and I really look forward to meeting and working with all of you.

I’m joining Compass at an important milestone as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. In the next decade we’ll continue to develop and experiment, learning along the way. And as we go forward, I’m passionate about making sure that Compass is led and shaped by you, and that we always stay true to our values.

Feel free to get in touch with ideas, if you want to be involved, or just for a chat.

All my very best,

Jacqui Howard
National Coordinator

Latest news and events:

Compass This year, Compass celebrates its first decade; click here to read our reflections on the ups and downs during 10 years of Compass, and our hopes for building a Good Society in the future. With your support we’ll continue to combine radical analysis with pragmatic action; all the time building the capacity of our members, deepening our connections and staying true to our values.Together There are lots of engaging local Compass meetings you can join that are always open to all. I’d especially like to highlight two: on 10 November we’ll be discussing how to build a Good Society in Huddersfield, and on 19 November  in Birmingham we’ll debate progressive and positive solutions to economic and social insecurity.

If you’re looking for some inspiration ‘Open Tribe’, a book by Compass member Sue Goss is all about creating a new way of doing politics. She asks if it’s possible to combine the values of solidarity and belonging with curiosity and openness towards difference.

And if you missed this year’s Annual Lecture, you can still listen to Lisa Nandy MP discussing Freedom and the Left with Tom Watson MP and Mary Riddell.
