  1. I am afraid that this town is far from “getting back on it’s feet”. Things will not improve until all the CSE enquiries and prosecutions are completed. That will take several years at the current rate. There is still racial tension and hostility in the air which is not helped by the quote from Zlakha Ahmed who appears to be in the same state of denial as the inhabitants of the Town Hall were, and in a lot of cases, still are. Confidence in the Council, South Yorkshire Police and Mr Billings is at an all time low. I just hope and pray that the electorate look hard and long at their prospective candidates before voting once again for the “deniers” amongst them.

  2. A case of believe the story you want to believe clearly then. The reporter has spoken to real people not public sector pen pushers. We need more reports like this I say. We should be celebrating that 100 odd years have been dished out to the abusers.
