A DOZEN Yorkshire companies have been named and shamed by the Government for failing to pay their staff the national minimum wage.

From hairdressers to garages, workers across the region have found themelves with less money in their pocket than they deserve.

Named and shamed: Dozen Yorkshire firms and two football clubs who paid less than national minimum wage

A DOZEN Yorkshire companies have been named and shamed by the Government for failing to pay their staff the national minimum wage.

From hairdressers to garages, workers across the region have found themelves with less money in their pocket than they deserve.

After a Government investigation, all of that money has now been paid back.

NAMED & SHAMED: The 198 businesses which failed to pay minimum wage to staff

Almost 200 businesses across the UK have today been ‘named and shamed’ by the government – for failing to pay the national minimum wage to staff.

A total of 198 businesses from Scotland down to Cornwall, with several in Yorkshire, have been named in the list, with amounts ranging from £99,500 owed to staff down to £103 of under-paying.
