Suspended Liverpool council chief executive Ged Fitzgerald re-bailed again
Mr Fitzgerald and three others were re-bailed this week
The chief executive of Liverpool Council – who is under investigation by Lancashire Police – has been re-bailed once again.
Ged Fitzgerald was arrested over allegations of conspiring to pervert the course of justice and intimidating witnesses as part of high profile probe led by the force.
The ECHO understands that, after answering bail yesterday, the suspended town hall boss was re-bailed once more.
He is now set to answer his bail in May, at which point it will be one year since his arrest.
The investigation should be extended to Rmbc where he and cllrs signed up to a similar scheme and outsourced local services yet again.
I can hear the shredder going like clappers and the usual cries from town hall chamber of we knew nowt ya honour.
