    • Oh dear, not going at all well for Ed is it? How inept do you have to be to screw up the opposition party in Britain with banal platitudes and no real policies?

‘Men who lobby their way forward into leadership are the most likely to be lobbied back out of it. And a man cannot be a leader if he is afraid of losing his job.’ ‘Grown men, who know the score, do not want their leader to be continually beating his breast and advertising his agonies.’
So a leader ‘must have guts. He must be ready to act swiftly, however much he has sweated about what is the right thing to do’.
He must be ready to ‘make big decisions’, even if they ‘make him look a fool, or a coward, or a renegade’. And he must have the guts to ‘sack people’ – for if he doesn’t, ‘he won’t last very long’.
      Clement Attlee.

“Ed Miliband is going to respond to the leadership concerns in a statement later, the BBC reports.”

  1. It’s not just the Leader that’s so out of touch with the public, it’s the Labour Party in general. It’s stuffed with all pretend Socialists, the with grandiose notions of political correctness, but in reality their all in it for themselves. Their false surpposed pretence at representing their core voters, is a means to making them a nice earner for as little work as possiable.

  2. Agree with Manc. Sadly, it will take more than change at top to stop the rot. Rotherham under Labour is a case in point. But personally I like Ed and its sad to see so much emphasis on tone. But how on earth can a party with any kind of vision for social justice and an ounce of brains possibly lack policies in reaction to the divisive shenanigans of the coalition!!? Environment, Tax Reform, Constitutional Reform, Health, Education, Criminal Justice, employment are all areas screaming out for big, bold changes. If they are short of ideas can I refer them to my “Commonest Manifesto” that I outlined in the 2012 by election? It’s on my revsimcop wordpress blog site.

  3. Agree, the Labour Party is full of apologist socialists who would not know a working class home if they saw one. The Labour Party is totally out of touch with ordinary people. More Dennis Skinner’s in the party would be a help. Too many academics looking for an easy living who have never done a real days work in their life.

  4. The entire Labour movement is visionenless and as in the case of Rotherham, Manchester and other towns where they rule lacks any sense of decency or a sense of justice.

  5. Some very unpleasant comments being made in the MSM regarding Miliband, his Jewish background and his looks.

The right wing press, and I include the BBC are having a field day with Miliband the Tory party election machine is in overdrive spending thousands of their donations from Hedge funds, tax avoiders and Russian business men to press home the anti Miliband message.

If the Labour party fails to win the next GE, a Tory/UKIP pact will see us all being dragged back to Victorian standards.
