Ex Rotherham mayor’s crown court date

A former mayor is to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on New Year’s Eve charged with a historic sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl.

Barry Dodson quit as Labour Mayor of Rotherham in June after just three weeks in the job citing ‘personal reasons’.
