Lets have a party!

Stuart Thornton gets a response to his Freedom of Information request and makes the following observations.

It seem as though Dazza gets the Town hall for free to run the interviews for the Labour Party selection process.

Dazza is not a RMBC Cllr and the selection process is a private labour party process, how can he hold an interview process in the town hall for free?

Maybe we all should ask if we can have free use of the Town hall for a celebration Party?

  1. This is a clear example of misuse of a community asset. Let me be clear about this; RMBC will not give free use of the Town Hall or any of its offices for political interviewing and selection purposes to any other political party. Once again the Labour party shows us they expect and demand favouritism ( the practice of giving special treatment to a person or group) at the expense of local taxpayers.
    Shame on you.

  2. I may well be winging another FOI request off very soon.
It has occurred to me that a recent meeting chaired by the Rt Hon Sarah Champion, is also a freebie.
Either Marhoof or Sarah must have requested the room that held the meeting regarding Gaza. This discussion was not anything to do with any business of RMBC. It was a privately arranged meeting (probably for publicity reasons) and therefore either Mrs Champion or Cllr Hussain must cough up.
These people ( labour Members) are abusing Tax payers money, for personal gain. but that’s what happens when a Council has an overwhelming majority.
